Owóksape:
Owóksape, which translates into “learning place” from Lakota, is an interactive and adaptive Lakota digital learning project. This digital platform will allow all interested Lakota language-learners, from children to adults, a best practices based way to learn Lakota. Owóksape will be incorporated into classrooms across Lakota Reservations allowing tribal youth a way to learn their Native language as well as strengthening their cultural ties. Once Owóksape is completed, we will use it as a template to create digital platforms for other Native Languages.
